  11. Target Development Announces Beta Release of ReportPalette for
  12. AccessKit/UIBinder;  January release for EOF.

  14. LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA - December 12, 1994.  Target Development
  15. announces the beta release of the ReportPalette for AccessKit /
  16. UIBinder.  The ReportPalette provides a graphical means for
  17. constructing and formatting reports directly from your applications
  18. custom objects.  The palette objects use the UIBinder tree to define
  19. the hierarchy of objects on which to report.  Data can be graphically
  20. formatted using a Text object, embedded with selector names that
  21. will be replaced with object data at runtime.  Supported data types
  22. are string, int, double, float, NXImage and UIRtfdWrapper.  A
  23. DBTableView can be used to graphically define report column features
  24. such as title, alignment, position, width, and autosize status.
  25. Page sizes and orientation are easily customized at runtime using
  26. PrintInfo.  Page and document headers and footers can be graphically
  27. defined in InterfaceBuilder, as can group-by properties, and their
  28. respective headers and footers.  Delegate notification and a custom
  29. cell class protocol provide the key to extending the palette objects
  30. to meet the most specific needs.

  32. The palette will release as version 2.0 in January of 1995, and
  33. sell for $595.00 per developer seat.  No runtime fees apply to
  34. applications built with the palette.  The EOF version will also
  35. begin shipping in January, 1995.
